...a bit of advise from a seasoned marathon runner.
Rest is a very important part of your marathon training, you need to learn to listen to your body (except for in the morning and on Mondays). You need to give all 4 legs time to adjust to the miles on the road.
Your Family is very important. They are your best source of encouragment and motivation (and sometimes a boot out the door to train). Your family may be feeling a little neglected at this time of year, try get some quality time with them (like me..)
Focus on your purpose for running. Why you are running the London Marathon? Your finishing time is not the most important thing. For me it is WaterAid. Every step I take I am reminded of the the people that will benefit from a safe and sustainable supply of clean water, sanitation and hygiene education.
Good luck & happy training..Humphrey
