Reading Half Marathon 06, sponsor a childs education in Zambia |

The Reading Half Marathon 06 is just around the corner, 9th April 2006. I've decided to use the opportunity to raise money for another very worthy cause, Cecily's Fund Cecilys fund is a charity dedicated to educating Zambian children that have been orphaned by AIDS.
HIV/AIDS has hit Zambia harder than almost anywhere else in the world. It takes not only adult lives, but also their orphaned children’s futures. Already one in five of all Zambian children are orphans. Many orphans cannot afford to go to school, but education is vital if they are to have a better future. Education gives them hope. Mike Toyer (hump2) has been out to Kitwe to see the great work that is being done by the charity, but there are still many more children that need help.
