I made it all the way to the top of Cribyn! This was my very first mountain top experience, and I was a little unsure of myself. How would the sheep respond? would it be steep? would the rest of my party leave me behind? I am used to the cheering crowds of London and was a little apprehensive at the prospect of solitude....well what a day It was. This went way beyond my wildest expectations...

The clouds cleared and its was a lovely September day in Wales (not quite as hot as the Saharah). I saw motor bikers, spectacular scenery, a welsh mens choir sang for me and I met people from all over the world. I made lots of new friends on the mountain who gave me £81 in cash for WaterAid (thanks camel friends).

After climbing Cribyn I got into the swing of things and continued up Pen y Fan and Corn Du. What a day in Wales. I was climbing for fun but also for a very important cause of bringing clean water and adequate sanitation to people in poverty.
